Stiga SVP 40B hand-propelled petrol lawn scarifier powered by a Briggs & Stratton engine.
A lawn scarifier of this size would be suited to medium to large domestic lawn areas. Scarifying is a process which uses tines or knives to remove dead thatch and moss from a lawn allowing fresh grass growth to come through thicker and healthier for a better appearance. The lawn debris is deposited into the 50 litre fabric collector which can be emptied easily when needed.
If you scarify at the start of the season your lawn should have a better look and feel all summer.
The Stiga SVP40B has a 40cm (15.5”) working width with depth adjustable floating knives. Powered by a Briggs and Stratton 550 Series petrol engine the SVP 40B uses unleaded fuel and 4 stroke engine oil. The working depth on the 32 floating knives can be adjusted from -15mm to 0mm.
The Briggs and Stratton 550 series engines are easy starting and reliable.
