Easily chop wood and prune branches with the MCS 50 Li from Mountfield. Sold as a shell only with battery and charger available separately; the recommended set-up includes a 4 Ah battery and the standard charger (it is only compatible with the 4 Ah and 5 Ah batteries).

Thanks to its 12 inch / 30 cm bar and 1000 W brushless electric motor, the MCS 50 Li has power & cutting credentials you can rely on. It has a soft grip loop handle for comfortable close control, while operating for around 80 cuts on logs up to 15 cm using the suggested 4 Ah Lithium-ion battery (sold separately).

Thanks the the latest Lithium-ion battery technology, the MCS 50 Li really is a pleasure to work with. It weighs an incredibly light 3.4 kg, which means you can use it in comfort over longer periods, while also being quiet and low on vibrations. There's obviously no fumes or power cables, and it's also very easy to use and maintain - basically what you'd expect from a standard electric model but without the cable.
